Minty Hoare, Linear Principle
Based in the Cotswolds

As the Head of Linear it is Minty’s responsibility to manage the overall systems and controls within Linear alongside compliance and sales management. With Linear being such a large firm, this is no easy task but Minty is supported by the team and exceptional Linear Staff. Each day can range from complex compliance meetings to marketing strategizing, helping advisers place a case or dissect a complex advice process. Most importantly, ensuring that what we do is always in the best interest of the client. Minty prides herself on living a life of servitude whether to her Linear Role or her dog Duffy, who enjoys long walks – which Minty usually plans to end at a pub in the wonderful countryside of her local area. Socialising is key to a happy work-life balance and you’ll find Minty most Friday nights in a pub with friends and dogs.

Alan Griffiths, Business Mentor
Based in Kent

As Linear’s Business Mentor, Alan is responsible for coaching and developing pre-CAS advisers nationally, within Linear, for all areas of their role in the early months. Alan supports in all areas to do with sales skills, systems, compliance, sales processes and procedures. Also, ongoing adviser support for all CAS Linear advisers. Alan is the expert with regards to processes and having the correct systems in place to make your business thrive. In his spare time, Alan is involved in a weekly game of 5-a-side football and part of a local darts team! Also being an avid bike rider, enjoying trips out to local paths and hills on his Mountain Bike. The highlight of Alans week is the Friday night trip to the local micro-pub, to celebrate the end of the week! Alan also values time with his family, weekend trips away with his friends and all things ‘Sky Sports’!

Lucy Hollis, Operations Manager
Based in West Yorkshire

Having been with Linear for over 6 years, Lucy is Operations Manager and responsible for office management, administration, supporting with managing suspense payments, equipment and supporting the on-boarding of new advisers. She is also responsible for the main office and is head of the admin team. A large aspect of Lucy’s role is dealing with adviser commissions and working closely with Minty and Alan with the day to day running of Linear. In her spare time Lucy enjoys good food, catching up with her family and four children, spending time in her home garden and greenhouse and weekends away travelling and sightseeing in her motorhome. You can also find Lucy, when she’s not working, out and about exploring in the countryside.

Daisy Richards, Interim Operations Manager
Based in Manchester

Daisy is responsible for all marketing within Linear, including the management of all Linear social medias, supporting advisers with any marketing queries they have and the creation and management of the Linear FS Marketing packages. On top of that, Daisy is responsible for day to day head office enquiries regarding commissions, broker fees, the onboarding of introducers and maintaining regular contact with lenders, providers and our colleagues in PRIMIS. Having worked for Linear for nearly two years, there are always new skills to master and new tasks to uptake. In her spare time, Daisy enjoys running, as she is currently training for a marathon, going to the local yoga studio, to burn off some steam after a busy work day, socialising with her fiancé and friends over a few drinks at the weekend and, of course, spending time with her family, including entertaining her two younger sisters.

Eden Linnell, Sales Support Administrator
Based in Northampton

Having recently returned from maternity leave, Eden is the newest member of the Linear Operations team and is responsible for assisting everyone with the overflow of day to day tasks. She has the lovely job of sending out the brilliant reviews that our advisers receive as well as liaising with our introducers when sending out their introducer statements each month. When she’s not working, Eden can be found exploring the woodland with her daughter, growing flowers and vegetables in her garden or baking cookies, muffins and other lovely treats.

Tracy Gavin, Employed Mortgage Adviser
Based in Northampton

Tracy has worked in Financial Services for over 31 years and has been with Linear as an Adviser since May 2006. She provides advice on and arranges mortgages to include Residential and Buy to Let whether it be a purchase, remortgage or securing you a new deal. She is also able to arrange protection for these properties. Tracy is a crucial part of the Linear Team, as she helps advisers who are transitioning out of Linear manage their pipeline of cases and ensure that their clients continue to receive great service throughout and have a point of contact even when their original adviser leaves Linear. When not working Tracy loves travelling to her favourite place Turkey and has set herself a challenge to go to at least one new country a year finding that cruises are a perfect way to hit that challenge! Spending quality time with family and friends is very important and usually involves travel, sport or the pub.

Ash Birchill, Sales Support Administrator & Employed GI Adviser
Based in Worcestershire

Ash is our resident GI Adviser and a member of the Linear Support Team. Having worked for Linear for over 5 years, Ash plays an important role with regards to the unreconciled, ensuring all policies are on ToolBox correctly and managing the general enquiries within Linear. With GI, Ash is almost always the top adviser for GI within Linear. She arranges suitable policies for her clients, whilst ensuring great customer service by staying in touch with each client. When Ash is not working, she enjoys spending lots of time with her family. Helping her Mom and Dad, working out with her youngest daughter and making crafts or watching Netflix with her eldest daughter. Family is so important to Ash, as they keep her grounded and ensure she looks after herself. Ash, also, has a beautiful cockapoo named Bailey, who often makes a cameo on her social media pages!
